Robert Pattinson is my inspiration, says Ashely Greene

Melbourne, June 21 : 'Twilight' star Ashley Greene, has revealed that her co-star in the film, Robert Pattinson, is her inspiration.

The 23-year-old is impressed by how Pattinson remains unfazed by stardom despite a huge fan following.

"Robert Pattinson, who plays my adoptive brother in the Twilight films, has been one of my biggest inspirations," the Daily Telegraph quoted Greene as telling The Mail.

"As a person, he''s not like anyone I''ve ever met in Hollywood, and as an actor he''s a complete natural. He has no ego. Everyone loves him, but he''s unaffected by that and never seems fazed by the attention that comes his way," said Greene.

"He''s not changed a bit since I worked with him on the first Twilight movie. He''s a great night out if you tag along with him to a pub or bar. He''s not the nightclubbing, get-up-and-dance kind of guy, but during shooting we''ll join him back at his hotel, where he''ll get out his guitar and we''ll have a loud sing along," she added.

"Cheryl doesn't want to live anywhere else. At first she didn't think she wanted it and felt like a fresh start somewhere new," the Daily Star quoted a source as saying.

"But she made the mansion her home and even though she's been away a lot lately she sees it as her base when she's in the UK," the source added.

ABOVE Magazine ‘Creating a Global Green Community’

NEW YORK, Coinciding with the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day on April 22, 2010, ABOVE magazine releases its Spring/Summer issue and further highlights the greatest challenge of our time – protecting the planet’s endangered natural resources.
This celebratory issue features cover model Elettra Weidemann shot by renowned art and fashion photographer Bettina Rheims. In this stunning and intimate portfolio, Elettra uses the opportunity to talk of her commitment to the environment and to set the record straight on her own identity (she is Isabella’s daughter; her surname, however, is not Rossellini).

“Earth Day is a perfect example of people pulling together, donating their time, energy, talent, money, art – whatever they have to contribute – to protect and preserve the beauty of our world,” says Nicolas Rachline, ABOVE’s publisher and editor-in-chief. “And it should be entertaining, too, because nothing effective is ever achieved by being boring.”

Also for ABOVE’s Spring/Summer issue, Tierney Gearon traveled to Florida’s Everglades to create an original series of her signature double-exposure photographs. An accompanying story by Kirk Nielsen delves deep into the puzzling reality of the Everglades, North America’s largest subtropical wilderness. Wade Davis submits his post-COP15 report from Copenhagen, concluding, “We must change the fundamental way in which we inhabit the planet.” And James Balog closes the issue with a startling look at what awaits us when the glaciers are gone, photographing and chronicling the effects of global warming in Alaska, Greenland, Iceland, and the Rocky Mountains.

On a lighter note, the timeless Carol Alt shares her views of natural and health-conscious living, while supermodel Helena Christensen invites readers into her “secret garden” in a corner of Greenwich Village.

And then we have a candid conversation with the always thought-provoking Philippe Starck in which he calls into question his status as an iconic designer and his relevancy in light of the issues facing humanity yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

ABOVE magazine is published quarterly by Centoria Limited with a cover price of $10.00. It is distributed globally by Comag, a division of Conde Nast.

Sonam changes her personality for 'Mausam'

By Subhash K. Jha, Mumbai, June 19 : After playing the giddyheaded starry-eyed young lover-girl in all her films so far, including the about-to-be-released 'I Hate Luv Storys', actress Sonam Kapoor in 'Mausam' is all set to play a girl who evolves into a woman in the course of the movie.

Her clothes which are always a source of powerful on-screen personality-transference for her have been worked on at great lengths by designer Anamika Khanna.

And the result, says a member of the crew, is no less than devastating.

Apparently Sonam was initially reluctant to get into the mature mould.

"She had reservations about being bracketed in the maturer mould so early in her career. In all her films so far from 'Saawariya' to 'Thank You', Sonam has played girls her own age and dressed accordingly in what she's comfortable with. The Western clothes that'd transform her into a chic Delhi socialite in 'Aisha' are as much a part of her personality as the salwar-kameez that she wore in 'Delhi 6'."

Apparently Anamika, who has worked earlier with Sonam in "Delhi 6", has been poring over the designs with Sonam trying to figure out what clothes she's most comfortable in.

Shahid Kapoor, who needed to make a sartorial changeover to play the mature mellow lover in the later part of the film, has also been heard joking about how "Mausam" has turned him and Sonam into overnight adult stars.

"Mausam" producer Sheetal Talwar said: "Shahid has sported the mature mellow look in 'Jab We Met'. But for Sonam the transformation from girl to woman in 'Mausam' is a challenge. Before she left for Scotland, Sonam wanted to be completely comfortable in her new avatar."

Manisha Koirala weds Nepali businessman, grand feast on Sunday

By Sudeshna Sarkar, Kathmandu, June 19 : In a fairytale wedding, Bollywood actor Manisha Koirala tied the knot with Nepali businessman Samrat Dahal in a traditional Nepali ceremony Saturday morning after an elaborate engagement and mehendi ceremony a day before.

The 40-year-old was wedded to the 33-year-old entrepreneur at the picturesque Le Meridien resort in Kathmandu Saturday morning.

Though her first hero in Bollywood, Vivek Mushran, flew to Kathmandu to attend the four-day extravaganza, as did Manisha's friend and director Deepti Naval, there was not much of a Bollywood presence besides Sunita, who stood in proxy for her husband Govinda.

There was also virtually no sign of the Nepali film industry that has impassively accepted her return almost after two decades. Manisha returned to the Nepali film industry a few months ago, playing wife to its superstar Rajesh Hamal.

Nepal's bigwigs, including political heavyweights, are expected at the wedding feast on Sunday, to be held at the Soaltee Crowne Plaza hotel.

Bollywood director Subhash Ghai, who first launched the doe-eyed Manisha in Bollywood with "Saudagar" in 1991, has been invited.

The newly-weds plan to throw a separate bash for tinsel town stars in Mumbai, where Manisha will continue to keep a foothold.

Her plans for Nepal had included opening a film city in Kathmandu and persuading Bollywood to shoot more of its films in Nepal.

Though the plan was shelved as well as the venture to make a Nepali remake of "Mother India" with Manisha in the lead, with an additional tie to her motherland now the old plans could be revived.

Dahal, an MBA from Texas, comes from a non-filmi business family that is into education as well as leather goods.

He himself is involved in launching a bio-gas factory in Pokhara city, where Manisha did a little bit of shooting recently for her new Nepali film "Dharma".

The alliance has plunged him from relative obscurity into limelight, thanks to Manisha's Bollywood career as well as family background.

She is the granddaughter of B.P. Koirala, Nepal's first elected prime minister, and though she herself has not yet shown any inclination to join politics barring a misjudged campaign for deposed king Gyanendra's government four years ago, her family boasts of three prime ministers, two deputy prime ministers and two MPs.

Her father Prakash Koirala was a minister in king Gyanendra's cabinet in 2005.

The deposed monarch has been invited to Sunday's reception, as has been his arch-foe, Maoist chief Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda. If both of them attend the reception, it would be the first time they would come face to face.

Manisha, who had been busy shooting in India less than a week before her wedding, has not made her future plans public as yet.

The couple will reportedly move out of Dahal's family home in the Bansbari area of Kathmandu for a pied-a-terre of their own.

Performing on stage was a challenge: Kylie

London, June 19 : Singer Kylie Minogue admits battling breast cancer was a challenge and she set a target to perform on stage again after completing her treatment. Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2005.

Kylie admits performing on the stage after being given the all clear was a physical and emotional challenge. "There was the physical challenge of knowing your body's been through a lot and dealing with those changes, but it was a real emotional challenge too," contactmusic quoted Kylie as saying.

"Performing again was what I had longed for, but I could definitely sense people were watching thinking, 'Is she ok? Is she going to make it?'

"I just had to dig my heels in, I've got strong determination. I'm like a little terrier, I will do it," she added.

Real source to educate you to save yourself from google click fraud punishment

Many web site owners are getting their Google Adsense account terminated when they have done nothing wrong to deserve the punishment. Considering the money that they are getting from Adsense, they would certainly want to get back into it.

Considering the money to be made with Adsense, it is no wonder that they would want to get back into it. It is that same consideration why the Google Adsense click fraud is thought of and why many people are getting into it. Click fraud is the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of costing the advertiser money. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. Many people website owners are aware of this fraud and are sharing the same sentiment that this is the one big problem that Adsense is facing. How do you prevent being involved in this fraud? Majority of web hosts are offering access logs. Once this is offered to you, it is necessary that you hand it over to Google as well. This allows them to look for any suspicious activity on your site. Problems like this are very serious and giving it to them is saying that you would want to help them in any way you can in solving the problem.

It can also help if you have a click monitoring software. If you do not have one yet, you should try and get one. There is absolutely no major factor preventing you from having one because most of this software is free. As usual, all the information you have received should be turned over to Google. This is showing Google that you too are fighting against click frauds and is in no way a part of it. Study your server logs and watch for any activity that seems suspicious. Report anything that you may find odd, may it big or small thing. You may want to consider disabling ads for your own IP address and local geographic area. This will certainly prevent accidents and will not make Google mistake another user as you. You can do through a htaccess file. This will avoid Google mistaking as clicking on your own ads and be kicked out because of it. Keep your Adsense off on pop ups and pop unders. Your ads should not be displayed on content sites that promote illegal activity or tampering of the legal rights of other people or business. Included in this are the content that is considered adult and gambling ones. If you think that you may be breaking this rule, immediately remove your content or Adsense from the web page. Be truthful and confess up to Google about times when you might have clicked on your own as, whether accidentally or intentionally. Or the times when you have done something that is against the Terms of Service that they are implementing. Be honest about anything that you may have done that is wrong. Confessing is way better than Google learning about it eventually. It would mean eventual termination and no getting back what you have worked so hard for. Do not tell your family or friends about Adsense on your website. Chances are they may start clicking on them to help you make money without you knowing it. They may be doing more harm to you than help by trying it in the first place. If ever someone you know chanced upon your Adsense, make sure they understand that they cannot click on your ads under any circumstances. It would be wise to brief them on important things about Adsense and what not to do with them.

Most pay per click networks have different measures in hand to protect website owners against click frauds. Other search engines can track more than 50 data points, IP address, browser’s information, user’s session info and pattern recognition. They also have “systems” available that detects fraud. Not to mention the specialized teams monitoring how things are going and helping advertisers stop click frauds. Google offers suggestion on how to avoid click fraud. Using “negative keywords” can be used to keep your Adsense showing on products and services that are in no way related to yours.
